Follow these recommended practices to ensure proper installation and long-lasting performance of Exira Laminates.
Air bubbles formed due to improper installation or adhesive application are not covered under warranty.
Cracks arising from groove cutting, L-shape cutting or improper corner cutting are not covered under warranty.
Never use a nail and hammer while cutting corners, grooves, angles or decorative designs.
Always drill before cutting corners, grooves and angles to reduce the possibility of cracks.
Sharp 90° corner cuts may develop cracks during installation. Rounded cuts are recommended.
Follow these guidelines to ensure the best performance, durability and long service life of Exira Laminates.
Avoid placing lighted cigarettes directly on the laminate surface. Sharp knives and utensils may scratch the surface. Do not chop, slice, or place hot irons directly on the laminate. Hot cookware should never be placed directly on the laminate surface. Heavy hammer or metal impacts may damage the laminate.
Clean using a soft damp cotton cloth with mild liquid detergent or household cleaner, then rinse with clean water. Avoid flooding the laminate with water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Never use cleaners containing acids, alkalis or sodium hypochlorite. These chemicals may permanently discolour, corrode or damage the laminate surface. Prevent contaminated bottles, cloths or materials from touching the laminate.
Ensure plywood and laminate surfaces are clean, dry and free from contaminants before installation. Stir adhesive thoroughly without adding water. Apply sufficient adhesive and proper pressure for perfect bonding. Use a roller from the centre towards the edges to remove trapped air. Maintain a minimum 2 mm gap between adjoining laminates.
Samples shown are indicative of colour, pattern, finish and thickness. High Gloss laminates are recommended primarily for vertical applications. Other combinations may be available on special request.
Exira warrants its products against manufacturing defects under normal usage. Products should be inspected before installation. No claims will be accepted after cutting, fixing, alteration or misuse. Warranty is limited to replacement of the product only.
